I loved looking at the display gardens at the Northwest Flower and Garden Show last month. One of my favourites was the garden done by Janit Calvo and Christina Salwitz. I loved it. Maybe it was the child in me that loved the miniature garden scene. It was surrounded with beautiful colors and amazing containers of color.

The display was built based on the best selling book Eat, Pray, Love. I love the tiny patio in this display.

This beach scene done in miniature was fabulous. This is a fun way to garden and if you want to get your children interested in gardening, let them create a miniature garden.

This display was surrounded by the work of Christina Salwitz of The Personal Garden Coach. I loved this container. What a wonderful use of foliage and color. It was stunning!

To top off this oasis, just look at this chair. It made me want to curl up with a good book surrounded with beautiful gardens. All I would need is a cup of coffee or glass of wine and I would be so content. Imagine spending time here after a hard day in the garden.
